If you book with Imagine NZ Travel, no deposit is required. Full payment is due 35 days prior to your travel date. If you book within 35 days prior to your travel date, payment is due at time of booking. Please note some suppliers (for example some of the luxury lodges) require a deposit or earlier payment in which case we will apply the stricter supplier policy. In these cases we will inform you at time of quoting.

We want to give you the flexibility to book with complete confidence. To be as flexible as possible, we apply the cancellation of our suppliers. In most cases that means you can cancel your trip up to 15 days before you are due to travel and receive a full refund. Please note some suppliers have a stricter cancellation policy in which case we will apply the stricter supplier policy. In these cases we will inform you at time of quoting.

All cancellations must be received in writing. If you cancel your holiday within 15 days prior to your travel date, there will be a 100% charge.

If the cancellation is due to Covid travel restrictions, most suppliers will offer a free postponement. We will work with you and our suppliers to make sure you can move your travel dates without any extra costs (subject to change in supplier policies).

Only cancellations made by the suppliers of activities (for example in case of bad weather conditions) will result in a refund to you. If you cancel an activity once you are travelling, no refunds will apply. Refunds in the event of cancelled activities will only be processed after your full trip is completed.
