This Otago Experience includes 3 days biking on the Otago Central Rail Trail, plus a full day scenic bike ride along the Hawea and Clutha River in Wanaka.
- Your first night is in the recently renovated The Lorde Clyde, located in the historic heart of Clyde.
- The following day your 3 day adventure on the Otago Central Rail Trail starts. It is easy to see why this is New Zealand’s most popular cycling trail. It has it all - the most stunning scenery, safe, easy and mostly off-road trails, historic pubs and gold mining sites, and great kiwi hospitality throughout.
- At the end of your last day biking, a shuttle will bring you back to Clyde where you can relax for another night in The Lorde Clyde.
- A short drive to Wanaka, where you stay the next 2 nights in Wanaka Alpine Lodge. Sarah’s home baking will be waiting for you when you arrive.
- After a comprehensive breakfast you are ready for another day biking, a 30 kilometer scenic ride along a Grade 2 trail that follows the Hawea and Clutha Rivers.
